Rui Hachimura has officially waved his goodbyes to the D.C. area.

The Japanese star published a Twitter post on Tuesday, thanking the Washington Wizards franchise and its entire fan base for the unwavering support he received since 2019.

As such, with a new chapter opening its door for him in Los Angeles, Hachimura is very much excited to become a Laker.

Kings strike extension with GM Monte McNair in light of team’s first potential playoff appearance since 2006

The Sacramento Kings have knotted their extended ties with general manager Monte McNair, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. 

As relayed by Sam Amick of The Athletic, McNair signed a three-year extension with no option included. McNair signed a deal with the Kings last 2020 which was set to expire at the end of the current season.

This season, McNair ushered Sacramento to a new age of contention that the franchise hasn’t felt for 16 years.
