As the Minnesota Timberwolves became the focal point of discussions just in recent days, there could be perhaps plenty of trades to consider in order for them to save their season much early.

In his Hoop Collective podcast, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst hypothesized a trade idea wherein the Timberwolves will ship D’Angelo Russell to the Miami Heat for Kyle Lowry. According to Windhorst, Lowry will be a suitable guard for Minnesota, with Miami benefitting on one end as they will be able to dump his hefty salary.

With plenty of time needed for him to be able to be back on a much conditioned status, the Philadelphia 76ers will start operating Tyrese Maxey on their supporting unit.

Per Ky Carlin of USA Today, head coach Doc Rivers announced that Maxey will continue to come off the bench for the time being.

Maxey needed time to recover after experiencing foot fracture that kept him out for over a month.
